Our house is located in the beautiful Eggegebirge. Not far from the spa town of Bad Driburg (3km) you will find us in the small quiet village of Siebenstern, which has a name for its glass products far beyond the borders of the country.
The family business "Haus Kanne" stands for a familiar atmosphere and offers you a wide range of "good home cooking". The swimming pool invites you to relax with a feel-good temperature of 28 ºC and is available to our hotel guests free of charge. While you linger on the large terrace, the children can occupy themselves on the football and playground directly in front of the house. Also a beach volleyball court offers fun for the whole family.
Our house offers the ideal starting point for hiking, cycling and motorcycle tours through the Weserbergland, as well as the adjacent Hochsauerland and the Solling. Directly at our house you can enter different hiking routes of the Eggegebirge. The surrounding area also offers you many beautiful destinations for day trips with the whole family.
Our guests have enough free parking spaces in front of the house. We offer our business customers seminar rooms with daylight, beamer, flipchart and more for your seminars, meetings and coachings. We will be happy to provide you with offers tailored to your individual needs.
In our comfortable guest rooms, all quiet, with shower/WC/hairdryer, telephone and TV, you will feel at home. All rooms in the main house are accessible without steps - an elevator replaces climbing stairs. After a restful night, welcome the new day with a delicious breakfast. In the whole house you can use our free WLAN. We are happy to accommodate families with up to 2 children in the room. Children receive a discount according to their age. The Kanne house has a charm of its own and is very well managed by the Kanne family. All staff are friendly and courteous.
We were particularly struck by the difference between a hotel run by the owner and a chain hotel. The friendliness of the staff is remarkable. Here we had the feeling of being welcome guests.
I was here on business for three nights and the expectations of the hotel were met. Very quiet and yet central location. The room was also large enough and comfortably furnished. It was a little cramped in some places in the bathroom.
We spent one week hiking vacation in Bad-Driburg and of course Siebenstern. We enjoyed the time in the house Kanne very much. At any time there were very friendly and competent answers to our questions regarding possible hikes. We liked our double room, the size and furnishings were appealing. Not to mention the free wifi and swimming pool use.
